Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover the motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life. Receiving a diagnosis of mental illness is not a life-sentence. We help you develop the skills necessary to keep symptoms in check.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger long after traumatic events.
We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Group Therapy offers a safe space to find community, and healing with others who have faced similar struggles in life. We currently offer groups in both an in-person and virtual format to meet your level of comfort. Groups typically meet weekly for 90 minutes. For many clients, groups offer a cost-effective alternative to weekly individual sessions.
Asking for help in the face of addictive behaviors takes immense courage. We believe that all addictive behaviors, such as drugs/alcohol, sex, or gambling, develop out of a need to cope with a traumatic history. We use trauma-informed, evidenced based treatment protocols to help you regain control of your life.
Many families find themselves facing a terrifying unknown when a loved one needs treatment for acute Substance Use Disorder or Mental Health Crisis. We believe it doesn't have to be so difficult and no one should be at the mercy of an impersonal call center. We offer assistance with assessment and referral to inpatient treatment facilities, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Partial Hospitalization or other outpatient services as needed. We can also. assist with safe, supportive, sober transport to treatment. Fees will be determined by time and services required.
Returning home from in-patient treatment can be an overwhelming transition. We are available to consult with aftercare coordinators to facilitate continuing care with individual therapy, groups, psychiatric care, and referrals to other necessary services. We also offer consultations with the family to inform and prepare them for their loved one to return home.
We understand that you may want to use insurance to assist in payment. While we do not accept insurance we are happy to provide a Super Bill upon request. Prior to seeking services you should consult your insurance carrier to ask about your Mental Health Benefits, number of sessions covered, and reimbursement rates for out-of-network providers. While insurance is helpful, we have found that for some clients, self-pay is the more valuable choice.
